Gretchen Young

As an experienced organisational coach and facilitator, Gretchen works with individuals and teams at all levels to be more effective in their roles. A career coach with many years' experience (including out-placement coaching), she helps people to take a more informed approach to their career aspirations and choices.  

Gretchen has expertise in strategic workforce planning and organisational development in the public, private and non-profit sectors, plus experience in leadership and governance, mentoring and project leadership. This experience underpins her approach, which is always about practical and durable solutions, with a strategic lens.  

Specific areas of industry knowledge are in the sport and recreation sector, the legal sector (she was initially a commercial lawyer to a senior level) and in government agencies, plus she has had senior HR/OD, contracting and non-profit governance roles (e.g., Cricket Wellington and First Foundation).
