Brendan is a senior consultant in Winsborough’s Wellington office, a highly skilled and experienced leadership and team facilitator who joined us in April 2015. He brings a wealth of hands-on leadership and team development experience. Currently, he supports a range of public and private sector organisations to implement leadership development systems that make tangible differences to leadership behaviour. He also coaches a number of executive leadership teams, helping them to maintain clarity of purpose and perform to their potential. He is an accredited IECL executive team coach.
Before Winsborough, Brendan spent more than 15 years working in the leadership industry designing, delivering and evaluating leadership development programmes. He also designed and delivered programmes that combined high-end facilitation and assessment tools with demanding outdoor expeditions in support of team and leadership development.
He was Senior Instructor and Director of one of NZ’s leading outdoor centres, participating in challenging expeditions here and overseas, including a mountaineering expedition to the Himalaya. He also spent a number of years working with the NZ Defence Force, supporting leadership development initiatives, and was a founding member of the NZDF’s Institute for Leader Development.
