Developing talent for the organisation: succession planning

Succession and development matters – CEOS that are appointed from within an organisation outperform their competitors by a considerable margin, on a range of metrics.

1. Have a shared understanding of what good looks like,
2. Measure your talent – get a sense of it individually and collectively, and
3. Provide good development experiences.
